Shooting suspected on Egyptian border
Security personnel investigating whether contractor's car was targeted from Sinai
The rear window of a Defense Ministry contractor’s car was shattered on the Egyptian border on Monday, Channel 10 reported. No injuries were reported.
Security personnel were investigating whether the damage was inflicted by gunfire from the Sinai Peninsula, on the other side of the border.
Monday’s incident came a day after snipers fired at an Israeli bus carrying troops along the Egyptian border. No injuries were reported in that attack, but the bus sustained some damage.
