Your health is one of the most fundamental things in life. No matter how successful you are, a healthy bank account takes second place to a healthy mind and body. Former high school coach Kirk Cooper and Marine Kagan Dunlap understand this firsthand as their former and present careers called for a lot of physical activity, keeping them in top shape.
Kirk Cooper loved his job, but he didn’t love his paycheck. In 2013, he ventured into the world of Amazon selling, where his storefront now sees upwards of six figures a month. He founded Ecom Automation Gurus to teach others how to succeed in e-commerce and currently works about three hours a day. He spends the rest of his time with his wife and three small children. This active family loves spending quality time together outdoors and keeps Cooper physically and mentally fit.
An active-duty Marine and bodybuilder, Kagan Dunlap is no stranger to strenuous physical fitness. Fitness and nutrition are his passions, and he has turned them into a career. Entry into the elite Marine Corps Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) opened the door for Dunlap to complete a Bachelors of Exercise and Sports Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Having graduated in June of 2021, his goal is to provide people with current information and techniques to help them achieve their fitness goals.
Successful people tend to make fitness part of their daily routines. Exercise helps to clear the mind and releases mood-boosting endorphins. It requires self-discipline and goals, key elements of being successful in almost any area. Other benefits of exercise include increased focus, better health, reduced stress, and greater creativity. These are highly desired characteristics for any organization, plus a formula for an overall better quality of life.
Kirk Cooper flexed his mental muscles and found success by working smarter, not harder. Kagan Dunlap found a way to turn his passion into a specialized career that stands out in a saturated market. These gentlemen are prime examples of how fitness is essential to success and enjoying that success as you live your best life.
