Interior ministry official charged with sex crimes against employee
Population and Immigration Authority figure allegedly fondled and kissed woman in his office for 3 years
A senior official in the Population and Immigration Authority has been charged with committing sexual crimes against a senior employee in his office, Israel Radio reported.
According to the indictment filed on Tuesday, Aharon Barzani touched, kissed and caressed the woman for some three years, before she took a leave of absence and transferred to a different department to avoid the harassment. Barzani, who heads the administration for employers of foreign workers, has not been suspended from his position.
