Streaming platform Netflix announces 74 original films for 2022
The new year brings at least one new movie a week in variety of genres
Streaming platform Netflix announced its 2022 film lineup with 74 new original movies, and at least one flick uploaded each week.
The list of films across the genres includes Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in “The Gray Man,” and epic sci-fi adventure with Halle Berry in “The Mothership.”
Daniel Craig returns to the scene of the crime in Rian Johnson’s
Knives Out 2,” while Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill reappear in “Enola Holmes 2,” about Sherlock Holmes’ sister.
Comic Adam Sandler stars in “Hustle and Spaceman” while comedic duos Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy appear in “You People,” and Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg lead “Me Time.”
Films for the whole family include “The Adam Project” with Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldaña or the fantastical journey of animated film “The Sea Beast, Slumberland” starring Jason Momoa.
“The School for Good and Evil” with Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington offers another family flick and Roald Dahl’s beloved “Matilda” also comes to the screen with Lashana Lynch and Emma Thompson.
