A 16-year-old student suffered moderate injuries Sunday when he was stabbed during a brawl at a high school in the central city of Lod.
He was taken to the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center for treatment.
Two other teens, also 16, were lightly injured.
Israel Police said a 16-year-old suspect had been arrested in the case and he will brought for a court hearing as needed. It was not clear if the suspect was one of those injured.
The cause of the fight was apparently related to a criminal dispute, police said.
The stabbing came amid a soaring crimewave and growing calls for the removal of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who is in charge of the police, from his position.
