Three killed in two motorcycle accidents

In Lower Galilee, vehicle flipped and caught on fire, claiming lives of both riders; in south, a rider collided with a car

Two men in their 20s were killed when the motorcycle they were riding flipped over and caught on fire in the Lower Galilee on Sunday.

The accident took place near the village of Bir al-Maksur, 15 kilometers (9 miles) northwest of Nazareth, between Shfaram and Hamovil Junction.

Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

Earlier in the day, 27-year-old Rami Mintz of Ofakim was also killed when his motorcycle collided with an automobile near the southern town of Sderot.
