Two men were killed in separate vehicular crashes Sunday, during the Rosh Hashanah holiday.
A motorcycle rider was killed in north Tel Aviv. The man, in his 40s, crashed in an apparently self-inflicted accident. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and died several hours later.
Police were investigating the cause of the accident.
A second man was killed and two others injured when their vehicle overturned on the Route 6 highway near the Sorek Interchange.
The victim was also in his 40s.

Responsibly covering this tumultuous time
As The Times of Israel’s political correspondent, I spend my days in the Knesset trenches, speaking with politicians and advisers to understand their plans, goals and motivations.
I'm proud of our coverage of this government's plans to overhaul the judiciary, including the political and social discontent that underpins the proposed changes and the intense public backlash against the shakeup.
