Two reservists lightly injured in training mishap

Two IDF reserve soldiers were lightly injured on Tuesday when the barrel of a machine gun they were using exploded during a training exercise.

Both men were evacuated from the Tze’elim army base in the Negev to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

The IDF launched an investigation into the incident.
