Udder confusion as chocolate milk sold as milk

Tara offers a switch for consumers who bought milk cartons mistakenly filled with chocolate milk

One of Israel’s largest dairy producers announced on Wednesday that it mistakenly filled cartons of milk with chocolate milk, sowing widespread joy and deliciousness.

Tara Dairy said that all one liter cartons of three percent homogenized milk labeled with an expiration date of March 24, 2017, were in fact chocolate milk.

However, a Times of Israel investigation revealed not all of those cartons were in fact chocolate milk.

Tara did not explain how the mistake occurred.

The company informed consumers who mistakenly purchased the chocolate milk that they may contact Tara in order to switch the cartons for regular milk, if they so desire.
