Victoria’s Secret names transgender actor Bell Agam as Israel brand envoy
Reality TV star has acted in young adult series, honored as ‘educator of the year’ in 2018 for work with transgender youth

Victoria’s Secret announced that transgender actor and activist Bell Agam will serve as one of the lingerie brand’s ambassadors in Israel.
Agam, 39, found fame as a reality TV star in 2004 and has since acted in several shows, most recently on the KIDZ channel young adult series HaTachana (The Station) in 2019.
“I’m glad to know that Victoria’s Secret and I will be cooperating during these times to celebrate the freedom of all genders and sexual orientations,” Agam said following the Monday announcement, according to the Ynet news site.
“Some among us hold misguided opinions against my community and think they can scare us with their primitive notions, but neither I nor the community fears any of them. We’re here to stay,” she added.
In 2018, Agam was named educator of the year alongside 20 others for her volunteer work supporting transgender youth.
Agam was also featured on the August page of the Foreign Ministry’s 2021 calendar.
