Watch: Man slaloms in snowy Jerusalem

As the worst winter storm in years blasted snow across Israel over the weekend, several eager sportsmen took the opportunity to go skiing — in the middle of Jerusalem.

Undeterred by the capital’s distinct lack of any designated pistes, the intrepid enthusiasts donned skis and whizzed down some of the capital’s streets, carefully avoiding tire tracks in the middle of the road and stranded cars buried beneath a frosty blanket of white.

Fortunately, one neighborhood hero took along a helmet-cam so that his extraordinary escapade was capture for posterity.

While his style and technique were questionable, he gets full marks for not falling flat on his face.
