A woman was killed after a fire broke out in her apartment overnight in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo.
Firefighters broke into the apartment and pulled out the woman, said to be in her 60s, Israel Radio reported.
She was rushed to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek hospital by medics, but died from smoke inhalation, the report said.
There were no immediate details on the cause of the fire.
