Woman killed by falling tree in Kfar Saba street

A 65-year-old female pedestrian was killed in Kfar Saba Wednesday when a large tree toppled and fell on her in the street.

A Magen David Adom team rushed the woman to hospital in critical condition, but she could not be resuscitated.

A man in his sixties who witnessed the incident was being treated by paramedics at the scene for acute stress.

An employee at a nearby store, told the Ynet news website “There was some wind, I was standing outside and the tree simply fell. It simply fell from lack of maintenance.”
