Approximately 400 social activists blocked a major road in Tel Aviv Saturday evening and were surrounded by police next to City Hall, reported Ynet News. The protesters took to the streets around Rabin Square to voice their anger over the high cost of living and rising electricity and fuel prices.

Five protesters were arrested, according to Ynet.

Saturday’s demonstration is another in a series of events in Tel Aviv, where activists are attempting to revive last summer’s widespread social protests.
