Rogen, Schumer and Rudd star in Super Bowl beer ad

In Bud Light commercial, Jewish comedians satirize US candidates campaigning for 2016 election

Jewish comics Seth Rogen, Amy Schumer and Paul Rudd star in a Super Bowl ad that parodies the presidential campaign.

Rogen and Schumer portray political candidates campaigning at a rodeo, a factory and a basketball game and satirize today’s polarized political divide.

“They say we disagree on everything,” Schumer says. “That’s not true, we agree on a lot,” Rogen says. “Like Paul Rudd,” Schumer says. “Everybody loves Paul Rudd.”

That and, apparently, Bud Light beer, if the rest of the add is to be believed.

They then boast that their Bug Light party caucus will be “the biggest caucus” in the country, ahem, before going on to spoof the president’s speech from the sci-fi movie Independence Day.

Super Bowl 50 airs Sunday on CBS. A 30-second ad this year costs $5 million.
