Zemach Hammerman CEO envisions a post-war real estate boom in Israel

The company is currently marketing several projects with substantial investment potential if Feiglin’s optimistic prognoses come to fruition.

“The real estate industry, like the entire Israeli economy, will come out of this war stronger,” says Haim Feiglin, CEO of Zemach Hammerman, one of the prominent construction companies in Israeli real estate. According to him, “the end of the war will mean a more comfortable security reality that will lead to an unprecedented boom in construction across the country.” Feiglin also cites the substantial increase in aliyah interest among Jews abroad as evidence supporting his confidence in the future of the Israeli real estate sector.

Only a few new projects were started in 2023, so a low supply of apartments is being met with high demand. In addition, Israel is experiencing continuous natural population growth and high interest rates. This convergence of tailwinds are very likely to increase the price of Israeli real estate for the foreseeable future.

Feiglin is so optimistic about the near-to-mid term future of Israeli real estate that he even believes towns in the Gaza envelope that were overrun by Hamas terrorists during their brutal attack on October 7th are set for unprecedented construction when the war is over.

“We are entrepreneurs, and therefore we are endlessly optimistic by nature. We believe in Israel. Zemach Hammerman is currently marketing a number of projects that will have substantial investment potential if Feiglin’s optimistic vision comes to fruition.
