A photo posted to Twitter on Thursday March 24, 2022 by the Ukrainian parliament shows 19 soldiers from Snake Island freed by Moscow in exchange for 11 Russian merchant marines. The Ukrainian sailors were initially reported to have been killed in an attack on Snake Island (also called Zmiinyi island) on February 24, 2022 -- the first day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine -- following a widely reported exchange with a Russian warship in which the Ukrainian troops said, 'Russian warship, go f*ck yourself,' in response to a demand for surrender.
