4 Israelis suspected of planning shooting attack on soldiers in north
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice officers and Shin Bet agents arrested four Israeli citizens in recent weeks on suspicion of planning a shooting attack on soldiers in Karmiel, a city in the Galilee.
The four defendants, all residents of northern Israel, include 19-year-old Ahmad Sarhan, 18-year-old Muhammad Khalil and two minors. They are set to be charged today in court.
According to police, the suspects trained and received training as preparation to carry out the attack (though they do not say who by), and one of the minors expressed support for ISIS.
In blurred footage shared by police, officers in the National Guard force are seen raiding the home of at least one of the suspects.
