Over 1,800 Haredi men enlisted to the IDF in the first six months of the 2025 enlistment year, from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, the attorney general says, citing data from the IDF, in an update on the implementation of High Court orders on the matter.

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara says this constitutes a 50 percent increase in the number of Haredi conscripts over the same six-month period in the 2024 enlistment year, which ended on July 31, 2025, but that these numbers “are far from fulfilling the country’s security needs.”
