Ahead of trip, Biden speaks to senators who just visited Israel

US President Joe Biden holds a call with members of a bipartisan Senate delegation that recently made a wartime visit to Israel to hear about what the lawmakers heard from Israeli leaders on their trip, the White House says.

Participants included Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Mitt Romney (R-UT) as well as White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Counselor to the President Steve Ricchetti, Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer and Director of Legislative Affairs Shuwanza Goff.
