Air defenses likely shot down Houthi drone over Eilat, military says; no one hurt

A drone launched by the Houthis in Yemen was likely shot down by air defenses over Israel’s southernmost city of Eilat, the military says.
Sirens had sounded in the city due to the drone attack and over fears of falling fragments following the interception.
Footage showed that at least two interceptor missiles were launched to take down the drone.
There are no reports of injuries or damage.
The attack comes after the Houthis launched a ballistic missile at Israel this morning, which was also intercepted.
