A Muslim man who disarmed one of the shooters in the massacre targeting Jews at Sydney’s Bondi Beach visits the grave of the Chabad movement’s leader in New York.
The gravesite in Queens, known as the Ohel, is the resting place of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the revered late leader of the Chabad Hasidic movement.
The Bondi shooting targeted an event hosted by Chabad for Hanukkah.

Photos shared by Chabad show Ahmed Al-Ahmed, wearing a kippah and an arm sling, praying at the site. He is joined by Rabbi Yehoram Ulman, a rabbi from Chabad of Bondi.
Most of the fatalities in Sydney were members of Ulman’s congregation, and he presided over their funerals.
