Despite PM vow of NIS 7,500 grants for self-employed, most receive far less
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWhile Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed last week that self-employed business owners would receive grants of NIS 7,500 by the beginning of this week, figures from Israel’s Tax Authority show that the majority of them received far less.
116,000 of the self-employed received less than NIS 3,000.
136,000 of them received between NIS 3,000 and NIS 7,000.
Only 128,000 of them received the full NIS 7,500 promised by Netanyahu.
