Hamas’s Interior Ministry says Israel killed Wael al-Ladawi, head of the Internal Security Service in central Gaza, in a strike targeting a vehicle in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

According to the statement, al-Ladawi held a rank equivalent to colonel and headed the Internal Security Service in the central governorate, one of Hamas’s security agencies in Gaza.

The ministry adds that another security officer, Tawfiq Abu Zureiq, who held the rank of major, was also killed in the strike, which according to other reports was carried out about half an hour ago.
