Herzog unimpressed with poll giving Likud lead
Labor leader Isaac Herzog says on Channel 2 that the new Haaretz poll shows his party remaining stable with 23 seats.
Seemingly taking a cue from comments made by political analyst Hagai Segal, who spoke just before him, Herzog says the two seats by which Likud now overtakes Labor were taken from Jewish Home voters “and nothing more.
“Tomorrow we will present an overarching economic plan and deal with the issues really meaningful to voters,” Herzog says, adding that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu needs “to stop fussing over Sara’s bottle deposits and to call an emergency meeting over the crowded conditions in ERs.”
