Hostage forum says nobody has done more for peace than Trump after he misses out on Nobel Peace Prize

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum issues a statement in support of US President Donald Trump, whom they had endorsed for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end the war in Gaza, after it is awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.

“Although the Nobel Prize Committee has chosen a different winner this year, the truth remains clear and indisputable: no leader or organization has done more for peace in the world than the president of the United States, Donald Trump,” the forum says.

Noting that the president was “working tirelessly, even at this very moment” for the release of the hostages, the forum says that his “unprecedented achievements in advancing peace policy over the past year speak for themselves.”

“No award, or lack thereof, can diminish the profound impact he has had on our families and on world peace,” it adds.
