IDF chief, hosting CENTCOM head, says current various talks are product of ‘historic’ battlefield achievements

Hosting dozens of senior Israeli officers, as well as US Central Command chief Adm. Brad Cooper, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir declares that this is a “fateful time for the country” from a defense perspective.
“Our mission is to affect reality and not be dragged after it, by taking the tactical and operational initiative,” Zamir says, according to the army.
He argues that the negotiations currently taking place on the Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza fronts are all “products of the historic IDF achievements” on the battlefield.
“We must ensure that we maximize the battle achievements,” he adds. “We are well prepared on defense, alongside immediate readiness to return to full-on fighting.”
