IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir says the military is being “challenged from the outside and from within, amid attempts to drag it into political struggles that are not its own.”

“The consequences of the war on personnel, on discipline, on norms, and also on our families at home. Here too, we will stand like a solid wall. We will do only what is right,” he says at a Command and Staff College graduation ceremony.

“The only consideration before the IDF is the security of the state and its citizens, and that is it,” Zamir adds.
