IDF says 7-year-old girl sent across Gaza border to confront soldiers
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe army says that a 7-year-old Palestinian girl was sent to cross the Gaza security fence into Israel.
“When the IDF troops realized it was a girl, they picked her up and made sure that she could get back to her parents safely,” the army says.
The military says the girl was sent by the Hamas terrorist group, which rules the Gaza Strip.
“Hamas cynically uses women and children, send them to the fence and endangering their lives,” the army says.
