IDF says it fired warning shots near Lebanon border, accidentally damaged road

Errant gunfire by Israeli soldiers caused damage to a road and a storage container in the northern village of Ghajar, which straddles the Israel-Lebanon border, earlier today.
According to the IDF, troops had fired warning shots to disperse suspects near the Lebanese border.
“After an examination, it was discovered that several stray bullets hit a road and a container” in Ghajar, the IDF says.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
