IDF says it intercepted rockets fired at Kiryat Shmona area; 1 hit open area

Several rockets launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon at the Kiryat Shmona area were intercepted, the military says.

One more rocket struck an open area, according to the IDF.

There are no reports of injuries.

Hezbollah has increased its rate of rocket fire on northern Israel in the past day, as the IDF pushes deeper into southern Lebanon.
