IDF soldier lightly hurt in suspected West Bank car-ramming attack, driver caught

An Israeli soldier is lightly hurt following a suspected ramming attack in the West Bank town of Huwara, the military and medics say.

The Rescuers Without Borders emergency service says the soldier is being treated at the scene after being hit by a Palestinian car.

The Israel Defense Forces says the alleged assailant has been caught by troops.

Troops had opened fire at the vehicle amid the suspected attack.

The suspect’s condition is not immediately clear.
