Iran condemns attack on Yemen’s Houthi-held Sanaa airport
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIran condemns an attack on the airport in the Houthi-held Yemeni capital Sanaa, after Yemen’s internationally-recognized government said it struck the facility following a dispute over an Iranian plane carrying a delegation from the Houthi terror group, which is backed by Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei describes the attack as a “clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, as well as an affront to Yemen’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” state news agency IRNA reports.
