Lebanese military: IDF strikes keeping us from carrying out mission in south

The Lebanese army condemns continued Israeli strikes near its positions in southern Lebanon, saying they are keeping it from fulfilling its mission.
“Continuation of the attacks hinders the completion of the army’s deployment, prevents the return of the local population, and obstructs the establishment of stability in the south,” says the LAF, according to local media.
Israel and Lebanon agreed that the LAF would move into positions vacated by the IDF as part of a pilot program meant to ensure that southern Lebanon is free of Hezbollah fighters and weapons.
