Likud MKs also decide to shun Haaretz confab
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDeputy ministers Tzachi Hanegbi and Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) and Likud MK Ze’ev Elkin also canceled their appearance at the February 17 Haaretz peace conference, the paper’s website reports.
“Likud, as a national and ideological movement, cannot cooperate with bodies who strive to always tarnish Israel’s image. The New Israel Fund finances dozens of radical left organizations… and is one of the bodies responsible for the Goldstone Report,” officials at the Likud campaign headquarters say.
