Meretz hopeful urges withdrawal from Golan
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUri Zaki, a Meretz candidate, says Israeli should withdraw from the Golan Heights.
“Even though the conflict in the Golan Heights is not like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, I think that for peace with Syria once it becomes stable and sovereign – we will need to give back the Golan Heights.
“We are a foreign occupier in Judea and Samaria and will leave there only by the way of the gun,” the website News 1 quotes Zaki as saying on Sunday, during a conference in Ramat Gan.
