Prince Charles hopes ties between Israel and UK ‘continue to grow ever stronger’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBritain’s Prince Charles, speaking at the residence of the UK ambassador to Israel in Ramat Gan, says he hopes the ties between Israel and the UK “will continue to grow ever stronger.”
“It has been fascinating to hear about all of the cooperative ventures between our countries,” the prince says after seeing a demonstration of four Israeli biotech companies in the fields of healthcare and sustainability.
Prince Charles says the demonstrations showcased Israel “as a leader in innovation and the strong strategic partnership between the UK and Israel” in the fields of science and technology.
“It seems like Israeli genius is holding up the entire NHS,” he quips to laughter, referring to the UK’s National Health System.
