Schools to be closed at least until Monday evening

Israeli schools will be closed in the wake of today’s joint US-Israel attack, with all education activities halted until Monday at 8 p.m., announces Education Minister Yoav Kisch.
“Please strictly adhere to all directives and follow official updates. This is a critical moment, and every instruction saves lives,” he says. “The education system has prepared in advance for emergency and war scenarios, and will continue to operate with responsibility and full readiness in accordance with developments.”
Meanwhile, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana announces that all parliamentary activities will be halted tomorrow in light of the security situation. This includes all committee discussions and the planned plenum session.
