Section of cliff at Herzliya beach collapses, area closed to public

A section of a cliff at Herzliya’s Sidney Ali Beach collapsed this morning, leading authorities to close the section of the coastline.
The Nature and Parks Authority says the area is closed to the public until further notice due to the danger of additional collapses.
The authority adds that there is a danger of cliffs collapsing along a long stretch of Israel’s coastline, from Palmachim to the northern city of Hadera.
