During the latest rocket barrage launched at towns close to the border with the Gaza Strip, a large piece of shrapnel lands in the southern city of Netivot.
Images from the scene show what appears to be part of a large rocket after it was intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system.
There are no injuries, but damage is caused to a parking lot where the shrapnel fell.
According to the Home Front Command’s instructions, civilians should remain in bomb shelters for 10 minutes after a rocket siren sounds, due to falling shrapnel after interceptions.
