Swastikas on Vienna mosque ahead of anti-Islam rally
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleVandals sprayed several swastikas on a Vienna mosque, Austrian police say, ahead of the country’s first demonstration by the “anti-Islamization” movement PEGIDA.
A police spokeswoman says that the graffiti, found on Sunday morning, is being “investigated by the national security agency.”
It is the latest in a series of anti-Islamic — and anti-Semitic — acts of vandalism in EU member state Austria.
