US President Donald Trump says “we’re doing pretty well on Gaza” and that “we could have something fairly soon to talk about.”

On June 27, Trump predicted that a ceasefire would take effect “within the next week.”

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump appears to call Israel’s unilateral 2005 withdrawal from Gaza “one of the worst real estate deals ever made.”

“They gave up the oceanfront property… [and] it was supposed to bring peace… [but] it brought the opposite,” Trump says.
