The medium-range David’s Sling air defense system has made a second-ever successful interception after rockets are launched from the Gaza Strip at the Jerusalem area earlier.

According to a military source, two rockets fired from Gaza toward Jerusalem are intercepted, one by the Iron Dome, and the second by David’s Sling.

It marks the second-ever David’s Sling interception, after a rocket fired at Tel Aviv on Wednesday was downed by the system.
