Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska offers support in call to her Israeli counterpart

First Lady Michal Herzog, the wife of President Isaac Herzog, speaks with Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska.
According to the president’s office, Zelenska calls Herzog “to offer her support” for Israel and her condolences for “the heavy loss of life in the brutal terror attack carried out by Hamas.”
Zelenska tells Herzog that Ukrainians “can understand what you are going through, we can understand your concerns, and your grief,” according to Herzog’s office.
Herzog thanks Zelenska and says that “I really appreciate this call — it is very strengthening, and very heartwarming.”
