UTJ leader demands justice after Jerusalem bus driver runs over Haredi protesters

United Torah Judaism chairman Yitzhak Goldknopf calls on police to bring to justice the driver of the bus who ran over multiple Haredi demonstrators, killing one. He sends his wishes for the recovery of the wounded.
“I was shocked to receive reports of the difficult and horrific incident in Jerusalem, in which protesters were run over, including a teenager who lost his life. My heart goes out to the young man’s family at this difficult time, and I send my best wishes for a speedy recovery and a full recovery to the other injured in the incident,” he says in a statement.
“Loss of control and harm to human life cannot be allowed to become the order of the day.”
