Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe White House releases a photo of US President Joe Biden holding freed Israeli-American hostage Avigail Idan, 4, during their meeting yesterday in Washington.
“She’s remarkable and recovering from unspeakable trauma,” Biden says in a social post, referring to Avigail. “Our time together yesterday was a reminder of the work we have in front of us to secure the release of all remaining hostages.”
Last year, we secured the release of Abigail, a 4-year-old who was being held by Hamas.
