A 29-year-old phone vendor was stabbed to death in his Netanya shop on Friday. Police arrested a suspect and interrogated him.
According to initial reports, two brothers entered the shop on Weizman Street and began talking to the shop owner. An argument broke out, and one of the brothers drew a knife and stabbed the owner. During the scuffle the other brother was lightly injured.
Both victims were taken to Laniado Hospital for treatment, where the shop owner died of his wounds.
The stabbing is the latest in a spate of murders in Israel. Last Friday night a Beersheba teen reportedly murdered Gadi Vichman after he asked a rowdy group of youths to keep the noise down.
