The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court released to house arrest on Monday the four suspects implicated in the Mount Herzl tragedy, in which a lighting rig fell and crushed an IDF officer to death last week.

Design Group co-owners Elad Levi and Oren Varshebski, safety consultant Itzik Tzuker, and event producer Meir Sela were arrested following Wednesday’s disaster on charges of negligence resulting in death. All were released to house arrest on Monday pending investigation.

Second Lt. Hila Betzaleli was killed and seven soldiers were injured when a lighting rig erected for Wednesday evening’s Independence Day celebrations collapsed.
