The Israel Meteorological Service has launched its first online application, providing weather warnings, temperature forecasts for the user’s area updated every 10minutes, and weekly forecasts updated every hour.

The application is available in English, Hebrew, and Arabic.

It presents national radar and satellite images, as well as rain maps based on the service’s models, along with graphs and tables showing historical data from weather stations nationwide.

It can be downloaded here on Android devices and here for Apple.

On Sunday, the application warned of heat stress in the Jordan Valley in the east, the southern Judean Desert, and the northern Arava in southern Israel.
