The Palestinian Prisoners Club NGO says Israeli security forces arrested or performed field interrogations on 60 people, including minors, in the West Bank’s northeastern region of Tubas today. It’s unclear if any are still held.

Among those detained this afternoon and later released is Samir Basharat, the mayor of Tammun, a town in the area, according to the Hamas-affiliated Prisoner Affairs Office.

The IDF and Shin Bet said this morning that they had commenced wide-scale operations in the northern West Bank last night.
